Potentiometer Mod

Potentiometer mods are usually box mods, which achieve variable voltage by having a device called a potentiometer in their circuit which acts as a variable resistor and basically operates similar to the way a dimmer switch can allow you to dim or brighten your lights in your home.

One well known and popular example of a potentiometer mod is the HexOhm (pictured above). Others that come to mind include the Smoant Charon Adjustable, and the Surric Vapes X-Vault.

Currently located in Sydney, Australia, I have been vaping since 2009 and became active in the e-cigarette industry in late 2015. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of visiting over 700 shops in 6 countries.
