Parallel Mod

A parallel mod is a type of mod containing two or more batteries, wired in such a way that each battery’s positive terminal is linked to each other positive, each negative is wired to each other negative. This essentially adds the amperage and mAh rating of each battery together, while leaving the voltage at the average of the total number of batteries.

For example, if you have two batteries, each with 2500mAh capacity, each are charged to 3.7V and have an amperage rating of 30A, your final numbers when installed in a parallel mod will look like: 5000mAh, 3.7V, with 60A of potential amp output.

ONLY ever use matching batteries in parallel mods! Batteries should all have the same charge, amp ratings and mAh ratings.

Currently located in Sydney, Australia, I have been vaping since 2009 and became active in the e-cigarette industry in late 2015. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of visiting over 700 shops in 6 countries.
