Hot Spot

A hot spot is formed when two wraps of an otherwise spaced coil touch each other allowing current to bridge across, heating the hot spot faster than the rest of the coil. This can cause a burnt taste and increases the likelihood  of spitback.

Currently located in Sydney, Australia, I have been vaping since 2009 and became active in the e-cigarette industry in late 2015. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of visiting over 700 shops in 6 countries.
