The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is the governing body for the e-cigarette and tobacco industries in America. The FDA have taken a very strong stance against vaping since releasing their deeming regulation which lumped e-cigarettes in with traditional cigarettes as a “tobacco related product” regardless of tobacco content or the use of tobacco derived ingredients.

Many view the FDA’s regulation as a form of prohibition due to the fact that the PMTA requirements are likely to be unachievable by the majority (or possibly the entirety) of the e-cigarette industry, effectively threatening tens of thousands of businesses across America and possibly hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Currently located in Sydney, Australia, I have been vaping since 2009 and became active in the e-cigarette industry in late 2015. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of visiting over 700 shops in 6 countries.
