The national tobacco control law in Nicaragua prohibits the sale, importation and manufacture of objects imitating tobacco products, ie. e-cigarettes. As such, it is currently illegal to bring e-cigarette products into the country, even for personal use.
While many people have apparently had no issue bringing their equipment into the country, a few others have been arrested and subjected to jail time, substantial fines and court fees. We advise that you leave your e-cigarette equipment at home.
There are currently a small number of vape stores to be found in Managua and San Juan del Sur. Due to the laws regarding the sale of e-cigarette products in Nicaragua these have not been listed here.
