Brief Overview

As of a 2014 country report on Montenegro by the World Health Organization there are currently no bans or regulations on e-cigarettes.

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Montenegro, but according to online reports this is not enforced at all, nor does it include e-cigarettes.

Montenegro became a Party to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control on January 21, 2007.

Montenegro became a Party to the WHO FCTC by succeeding to the treaties to which the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro was a party or signatory.
