Brief Overview

As of a 2014 report on Algeria by the World Health Organization there are currently no bans or regulations on e-cigarettes.

Although, we suggest that you at least abide by current smoking laws until further information is gathered from the embassy. (Available in the tab below)

Algeria became a Party to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control on September 28, 2006.

Smoke Free Places: The law prohibits smoking in educational, health, athletic, and cultural facilities.  Smoking is restricted in parts of workplaces intended for groups of workers, and designated smoking areas are permitted.  In other parts of workplaces, smoking is allowed.  In public transport, smoking is restricted and designated smoking areas are permitted.  With respect to outdoor places, the law prohibits smoking in the uncovered places frequented by students in educational facilities.
